If I Could Build a House Contest |

One
of Aversboro's winning entries in the 2004-2005
MY COASTAL PLAINS HOUSE I recently built
a house in the Coastal Plain Region. It is lime green, has two
decks and a big bay window. My house has a boardwalk that leads
from the sand to my sunshine door. It’s a half circle shape
with curved ceilings. I like my house because it’s in a
place where I can see the dolphins and whales. Not only is it
cool looking, but also it is in a safe place because part of
the boardwalk comes down. Don’t you love my house?

The 2004-2005
If I Could Build a House Contest A group of Aversboro students won the 2004-2005 If I Could Build a House art contest sponsored by the Home Builders' Association of Raleigh-Wake County. Students were judged on: the creativity of their drawings Ms. Sligh
was awarded a check for $500.00 for the art program. The
students' drawings were
displayed at Crabtree Valley Mall in January 2005. |
